Master Bedroom: There's no need for a before photo, the room had cream walls with cream trim.  

Guest room Before: The nursery was also this color. Yuck! You are luckily missing the dolphin wallpaper that they used for the ceiling trim in this room. It took about two hours to take it down.

Guest room After: I bought those sconces a while back, I knew they would come in handy :)

I know the painting is too small for that wall, but that is it's current home until I find a better  place.

Nursery after painting, but before furnishing:

Our downstairs spare room before: Yes that is American flag wallpaper with a schoolhouse drop ceiling, exposed piping and the foundation is exposed as a shelf. Yucko!

Kevin decided to take on the task of putting in a ceiling and making that wall flush.

Front Room After: I got the mirror for 30 bucks from a RCWilley clearance sale and the blanket from my good friend Sarah Newey for our wedding! The couches are from Kevin's Parents :)

Dining Room Before: Fancy dining area fan right?! Wrong...

Home Sweet Home

I love the summer, and I am so excited for it to warm up again.
Here are some pictures of our yard from last summer.

Yes I have rosebushes! They are all pruned now ready for the spring.

Our backyard and by the wood fence is the location of Kevins "dream" shop.

The trees along the back fence are strategically placed to hide the HUGE, two story workshop our neighbor, a widower named Mike, has in his backyard.

Our front yard. Our brother Trent ripped out the fence for us right before winter came.

We love our neighbor dog Aspen!

SPOILER ALERT: Aspen is Rocky's BFF.

What we have done thus far:

Sold the moldy Above-Ground swimming pool.

Replaced mismatched Ceiling Fans

Took off poo-brown wallpaper in front room

Took off hot air balloon Wallpaper in kitchen

Painted all the off white walls

Bought a big screen TV and an Xbox.. because we NEEDED it ;)

Buy an MTV Cribs worthy bedroom set (Thanks to the Michaelis family for getting us a killer deal at RCWilley)

Now the house looks 100X better! But we still have a long way to go.

To Do:

Paint all 4 bedrooms

Take down dolphin Wallpaper

Take down American Flag wallpaper

Replace countertops

Paint front fence.

Landscaping! Kevin is exited to use his Landscape Design training to good use :)

Replace flooring in the kitchen and front room

Update our 3 bathrooms!!!

We are so grateful for how blessed we are and how much we have, and we have to say that the best part about our home is the location.

Krystina’s Reason: The Gorgeous 360 Views and did we mention the Views?!!

Kevin's Reason: We can take our dirtbikes from our garage and ride 2 minutes to a trail head and ride awesome single tracks in the mountains for hours!!
